About this role
OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the IR team on a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026.
Position Overview
You will work a 4x9-hour day shift schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The role involves scrubbing, passing instruments, and managing setup and takedown of the procedure room. You will handle an average of 3 cases per day in a single-suite environment, with common procedures including Endovascular (IR) and Vascular interventions. Floating within like units and assisting Surgical Tech staff as needed is required.
Schedule & On-Call Expectations
- Weeknight call: 1–2 nights per week with 30-minute response time
- Weekend call rotation: Every 3rd weekend (Saturday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM)
- Holiday call rotation required
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Vascular/Endovascular experience required
- IR experience preferred but not required
- Experience with GE equipment required
- ARRT certification (RCIS not accepted)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Active Illinois license required or confirmation that application process has been initiated
Facility Details
Charting is performed in the EPIC EMR system. Hospital-provided scrubs are required. You will work in a modern medical center with access to current IR technology and equipment.
Compensation
Weekly pay: $3,510
