Interventional Radiology Technologist

Opportunity:

IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call requirements apply (7-9 call shifts per 6 weeks)
• Call response time required within 30 minutes
• Perform scrubbing, passing supplies, and setup and takedown of procedure rooms
• Work across 6 interventional radiology labs with pre-op and phase 2 recovery
• Average of 20-30 cases per day
• Common patient diagnoses include vascular, neuro, drains, and lines
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system and Philips monitors
• Charge RN on shift from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM who does not take patients but covers cases and lunches
• 1 PCT available per IR Tech
• No floating requirements outside of cath lab or IR
• Scrubs and dress code provided
• 3-5 days of unit/department-specific orientation in the lab
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS
• Active Illinois license required or confirmation that application process has been initiated
