Med Surg RN Job in Machias, ME

Down East Community Hospital is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in Medical-Surgical nursing. You'll work the night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, earning $2,332 weekly.

In this role, you'll deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-centered care that meets Maine State Standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing thorough patient assessments with strong communication and documentation skills
• Functioning independently in a medical-surgical nursing environment
• Acting rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations as they arise
• Maintaining comprehensive confidentiality of patient information
• Supporting the hospital's mission, vision, and organizational values
• Utilizing strong computer skills for accurate clinical documentation

You'll be part of a team dedicated to family-centered care, working with adult patients across a range of medical and surgical conditions. The position requires you to manage your own patient load while collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.
