OR RN Job in Mesa, AZ

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a temporary assignment in the Operating Room at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona.

Position Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, working three 12-hour day shifts per week. This 89-day assignment begins August 17, 2026, and offers a weekly pay rate of $2,549.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards
• Review patient history and diagnostics, reporting abnormal findings to physicians and caregivers
• Formulate and initiate individualized plans of care based on patient assessment and medical needs
• Implement care through direct patient interaction, coordination, and delegation of health care team activities
• Supervise licensed nurses and support personnel as appropriate
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care, revising the plan as needed
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in patient records
• Participate in shared leadership, education, and orientation activities
• Precept and mentor colleagues to support professional growth
• Prioritize and synthesize data from multiple sources to support responses to changes in patient health status

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience with specialty experience within the past 12 months
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Capacity to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
• Compliance with standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

Schedule Notes

You will work varied schedules including weekends, holidays, and call per department guidelines, with float responsibilities as needed.
