OR RN Job in Glendale, AZ

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, located at 5555 W Thunderbird Rd in Glendale, AZ. This is a 4x10 day shift position with a duration of 89 days, starting August 3, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,818.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, physical examination results, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal findings to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical requirements
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise health care team activities to implement the plan of care
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and support education, role development, and orientation of personnel

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting with specialty area experience within the past 12 months
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Experience with robotic, neuro, vascular, general, GYN, urology, and ortho procedures required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
