Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

Join CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus as an Interventional Radiology Technologist on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work in the Interventional Radiology unit located on the first floor of the main building, supporting a dynamic team that performs a wide range of minimally invasive procedures.

Shift and Schedule: 4x10 days, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with 1–2 nights of call per week and approximately 1 weekend of call every 4–5 weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Discovery 740 IGS equipment and manage Meditech EMR system
• Assist with biopsies, drain insertion, angiograms, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Support paracenteses, thoracentesis, line placement, and CT coronary procedures
• Assist with MRI monitoring and myelograms as needed
• Collaborate with a day-shift team of 3–4 technologists, 3–4 RNs, and 1 Scheduler/Coordinator

Required Qualifications:

• Critical care experience
• Procedural area experience
• Moderate sedation experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• PALS certification
• Meditech EMR experience
