Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus in Richmond, VA. You'll work day shifts, 4x10 schedule, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, beginning October 5, 2026.

Role Overview

You'll join an Angiography/Special Procedures unit equipped with 4 beds. The day shift team includes 5 RNs and 4 technologists. Your primary responsibility is performing interventional radiology procedures with a focus on neuro IR work. This assignment involves heavy neuro volume, requiring solid experience in this specialty—neuro IR experience is required for consideration.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Phillips and GE biplane equipment during procedures
• Assist physicians during angiography and special procedures
• Navigate the Meditech EMR system for documentation and patient records
• Maintain sterile field and procedural protocols
• Participate in on-call coverage after hours and weekends

What We're Looking For

You hold an Allied Health Professional credential and bring demonstrated neuro IR experience. You're comfortable with biplane fluoroscopy systems and understand the pace and demands of an active interventional radiology service. You're organized, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
