SLP Home Health Job in Sarasota, FL

BayCare HomeCare Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for home health services in the Sarasota and Charlotte County area. You will deliver skilled therapy to patients across the lifespan—adolescents, adults, and geriatrics—managing both acute and chronic conditions in their home environments.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct 6–8 home health visits per day (minimum 6 points daily, with potential to increase at manager discretion)
• Cover multiple territories including Manatee County and South Hillsborough
• Self-schedule visits and hours based on HomeCare office needs
• Work 1–2 weekends during the contract period
• Provide dysphagia management, aural rehabilitation, functional maintenance programs, and patient/family education
• Perform evaluations using standardized tools (BIMS, Depression Screening, Oral Peripheral Exam)
• Document in BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet systems

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Florida or Compact state SLP license
• Board certification (CCC-SLP)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience; home health experience required
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for home visits
• Travel experience required

Preferred qualifications:

• OASIS training
• Epic charting system experience
