Operating Room RN Job in Asheville, NC

Join Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 6, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment with exposure to multiple specialties and advanced surgical techniques.

Position Details:

• Shift: 4x10 days, 6:45 AM–5:15 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,515
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Facility provides scrubs

What You'll Do:

You will perform circulating and scrub nurse duties across a broad range of surgical procedures. Your day-to-day work will include joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular cases, with demonstrated skill at level 3 or higher required in each of these areas. You will manage variable procedures based on the surgical schedule and may be asked to float to other departments as needed.

Broad surgical knowledge and comfort with multiple service lines are essential. You will use the Cerner documentation system and work with advanced surgical equipment and technology throughout your shift.

Schedule:

Variable schedule with call required. You are expected to be flexible and responsive to surgical needs as they arise during your assignment.
