OR RN Job in Raleigh, NC

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at University of North Carolina Health Care System in Raleigh, NC. This is a 12-hour shift position with a contract duration of 89 days, starting September 28, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,727.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in the operating room
• Circulate cesarean sections and demonstrate proficiency in labor and delivery operating room procedures
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting
• Assess and manage care for patients with complex problems, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety considerations
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as required for patient care plans
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Consult with appropriate resources regarding patients with complex care issues and unusual teaching needs
• Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
• Collaborate with patients and families to prepare or update the plan of care
• Utilize multidisciplinary resources in planning and delivering care
• Participate in unit goals and performance improvement activities
• Promote a safe, clean, and secure environment for all patients

Required Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification completed through AWHONN or GE
• Previous labor and delivery operating room experience
• Demonstrated ability to circulate cesarean sections
