Mammography Technologist Job in San Mateo, CA

Sutter Health Mills Health Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in San Mateo, California. You will work 5 x 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation as needed, and every other Saturday weekend coverage is required.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized breast imaging procedures including 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, Hologic 3D, screening mammograms, and outpatient procedures to produce quality diagnostic images
• Work independently while exercising sound clinical judgment and developed technical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
• Build confidence and cooperation with patients, their families and support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment and effective communication
• Orient other staff to the department and perform specific procedures as assigned
• Maintain all charting documentation using the Epic system
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience
• ARRT M certification
• Current California CRT license
• BLS (AHA) certification
