Mammography Technologist Job in Oakland, CA

Join Sutter Health Alta Bates as a Mammography Technologist and deliver diagnostic and screening mammography services across multiple locations in the Oakland area. You will perform mammograms using digital technology, including Hologic 3D systems, while working with both inpatient and outpatient adult populations.

Schedule and Locations

• 5x8 day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating weekend shifts approximately one Saturday per month
• Float between three locations: 5730 Telegraph, Carol Ann Read Breast Center, and Mobile Van
• 5730 Telegraph: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 3100 Summit Street: Two Saturdays per month, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (off Sunday and Monday)
• Mobile Van (based at 3100 Summit): Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, possible 7:00 AM departure

What You'll Do

• Perform diagnostic mammograms, screening mammograms, and 3D mammography
• Work with Epic charting system
• Support both inpatient and outpatient patient populations

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum two years of experience
• ARRT Mammography certification
• California State Mammography Licensure (Certified Radiologic Technologist by California Department of Health Services)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Charting system experience required
