Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• 13-week contract
• Float throughout all patient care areas of the hospital including the emergency department and general care areas
• May be required to float to other central locations with advance notice provided
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments using Assess and Treat Protocols for all age groups
• Pediatric experience required; NICU experience highly preferred for night shift positions
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Associate's Degree or Certificate required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Advanced NRP, NBRC RRT (NBRC CRT accepted with RRT to be obtained within one year); AHA or ARC certifications required
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Equipment used: V60 BiPAP, Hamilton G5 and C1, iStat; documentation in Epic
• Dress code: closed-toed shoes, scrubs any color, clean appearance, no smoking or scent allowed, piercings per dress code policy
