Cath Lab Technologist Job in Portland, OR

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 4x10 day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirement: approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3–4 weeks
• Weekly pay: $3,390
• Scrubs provided; free parking available

Role Responsibilities

You will serve as scrub technologist and first assistant to the operator, performing complex cardiac interventions in a brand new 7-room lab equipped with Philips Azurion systems. You will assist with procedures including OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, drug-coated balloons, and CTO techniques. Your duties include insertion of Impella CP, RP, 5.5, IABP, manifold preparation, balloon and stent deployment, and pericardiocentesis.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Scrub experience mandatory; experience in both Cath Lab and Angio preferred
• Active Oregon state license (OBMI) or proof of application and fingerprinting
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R
• One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager, preferably within the last year
• No felony convictions

Additional Information

• You may be asked to float within the site and across the system
• Mandatory low census cancellation: you must cancel 1.5 hours before shift start; one shift per two-week pay period may be mandatorily cancelled
• Any assigned education must be completed within one week of your start
