CVOR Technologist Job in Washington, DC

You'll work as a CVOR Technologist at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, a 21-room surgical suite performing cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3x12-hour day shifts per week, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM rotation
• On-call requirement: 6 calls per 6-week schedule
• 1 weekend shift and/or 1 holiday required per 6-week schedule
• Weekly pay: $2,339.28

Your Responsibilities

• Perform aseptic technique and case cart management for cardiac and vascular procedures
• Operate Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System for cardiothoracic robotic surgery
• Float to general surgery when no cardiac cases are scheduled
• Operate crash cart as needed
• Support all surgical service lines including general surgery, orthopedics, orthopedic spine, orthopedic joints, urology, endoscopy, thoracic, neurology, gynecology, neuro/spine, bariatrics, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and transplant cases
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in aseptic technique, case cart management, cardiac and vascular surgical cases
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment required
• BLS certification required
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility
