Cath Lab Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Rochester - Unity Hospital, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• On-call requirements included
• $3,369 weekly pay

Role Responsibilities

You will perform scrub and circulator duties across diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac procedures, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). Your responsibilities include equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, left and right heart catheterization support, IABP placement and removal, cardiac stent placement, cardiac implant closure device procedures, rotablator atherectomy, dysrhythmia interpretation, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, and adherence to isolation precautions and sterile technique protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
• New to travel healthcare accepted
• New York state license required prior to submission
• ACLS and BLS certification
• ARRT R certification preferred
• CCI or RCIS certification (only one RCIS accepted at a time due to on-call demands)
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory

Additional Requirements

• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
• Float assignments as required
