NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to pediatrics, PICU, and nursery as needed
• Care for neonatal and infant patients in a Level III NICU setting
• Work with patients 23 weeks and up, including surgical and cooling cases
• Manage all respiratory modes including ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
• Perform and assist with specialized procedures including PICC, bronchoscopy, LISA, VCUG, MRI, swallow studies, and line insertions (PICC and umbilical)
• Operate specialized equipment including Jet ventilator, HFvent, high flow, CPAP, and ostomy care equipment
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, UAC, UVC, and IV vasopressors
• Experience with neonates under 24-28 weeks, dysrhythmia interpretation, and neonatal abstinence syndrome required
• Patient ratio of 2-3 patients per nurse
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Valid California nursing license required
