Sterile Processing Technician Job in Oklahoma City, OK

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a travel assignment. You will work evenings on a 5x8 schedule, with 36 guaranteed hours per week over a 91-day contract beginning October 19, 2026.

In this role, you function as an Instrument Technologist within the Sterile Processing department. Your responsibilities include preparing, sterilizing, and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment to ensure patient safety and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience
• BLS certification required
• CRCST or CSPDT certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Basic computer skills preferred
