Cath Lab Technologist Job in Englewood, FL

HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join its Cardiac Catheterization Lab on a travel assignment. You will work in a 9 FTE unit with a day shift team of 5 RNs, 2 RCIS staff, and 1 Director, performing a range of cardiac and interventional procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist with left heart catheterization (LHC) and right heart catheterization (RHC) procedures
• Support permanent pacemaker (PPM) insertion cases
• Participate in stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and port insertion procedures
• Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment to support clinical team workflow
• Maintain flexibility and adapt to unit scheduling needs

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Duration: 112 days beginning May 26, 2026
• Staffing: Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year critical care or Cath Lab experience
• Team-oriented approach and flexible mindset
• Black scrubs required (Radiology standard)

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,336
