ICU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 110-week travel assignment at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. You will work nights on a 3x12 schedule, earning $1,938 weekly.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Intensive Care Unit setting. Your responsibilities include monitoring and managing patients with complex medical conditions, administering medications and IV therapies, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Populations

You will care for patients presenting with a range of acute and chronic conditions, including:

• Sepsis and severe infections
• Heart failure and cardiovascular emergencies
• Hypertensive emergencies
• Respiratory failure and COPD
• Chronic kidney disease
• Type 2 diabetes complications
• Substance use and alcohol-related conditions
• Status epilepticus and seizure management
• Encephalopathy

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (valid in Georgia)
• Minimum 3 years of intensive care nursing experience
• Demonstrated competency with mechanical ventilators
• Experience managing multiple intravenous drips and vasoactive medications
• ACLS certification (current)
• BLS certification (current)

Assignment Details

Start date: September 21, 2026. This is a fast-paced environment requiring strong clinical judgment, time management, and the ability to prioritize care for acutely ill patients. You will be part of an established team at a major academic medical center.
