Pharmacist Inpatient Job in Peridot, AZ

Arizona San Carlos Apache Healthcare Center is seeking a Pharmacist for inpatient pharmacy coverage. You will manage pharmacy operations across both inpatient and emergency room settings, with flexibility to work across departments as needed.

Your responsibilities include:

• Process prescriptions accurately and timely, adhering to all policies and procedures
• Handle controlled substances according to state and federal law
• Counsel patients on medications and maintain current clinical knowledge
• Operate ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System with SP200 Robot and RPMS Electronic Health Record
• Work with Omnicell ADCs, Carousel automated medication dispensing systems, and Kirby Lester counting machine

Position details: You will work variable shifts including nights, days, swing, and weekends with no on-call requirements. This is a 10-hour shift position paying $3,289 weekly for an 89-week assignment starting November 9, 2026.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited pharmacy school
• Current, active, unrestricted state pharmacy license (Arizona license preferred)
• Minimum five years professional experience with two years management experience
• Hospital experience (inpatient or outpatient) and emergency room experience required
• Two years clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (PALS available on-site)

Workplace expectations: Wear Caribbean Blue scrubs or business professional attire with closed-toe shoes. Natural hair color, short nails, and non-offensive tattoos are required; no excessive or facial piercings. Cell phone use is not permitted during shifts. Overtime requires manager approval. Provide minimum 2 hours notice for call-ins to your pharmacy manager.
