RN - Wound Care

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Perform VAC changes and dressing changes
• Use rover device for wound photography documentation
• Treat adult patients with wounds requiring wound care treatment
• Patient ratio of 6 patients per day shift
• Float within service line to meet facility needs
• Weekend requirement: 1 shift every 6 weeks
• No on-call required
• Minimum 1 year of wound care experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Wound Ostomy Care (WOCN) certification required
• Required certifications: BLS and NIH
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Scrub color: Navy blue (no artificial nails)
• No parking cost
• Required skills include: wound vac therapy, VAC changes, dressing changes, pressure ulcer assessment and management, sharp debridement, mechanical debridement, colostomy/ileostomy management, neuropathic ulcer assessment and management, venous status ulcer assessment and management, peripheral arterial ulcer assessment, silver products, hydrocolloids, hydrogels, foams, alginates, enzymatic and autolytic debriding agents, wet to damp dressing changes, and urinary/fecal incontinence programs
• Special procedures include: Peritoneal Dialysis
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
