MRI Technologist Job in Corpus Christi, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting an MRI Technologist for a travel assignment at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi Shoreline in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is a full-time position running for 91 days, beginning June 29, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 16-hour days, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• On-call coverage required Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly pay: $2,561
• Facility: Level I or Level II hospital

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures
• Provide support to other imaging technologists to maintain efficient patient flow
• Conduct basic MRI screening of patients and employees
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and participate in quality assurance
• Resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and escalate issues to the PACS administrator as needed
• Report equipment malfunctions to Director/Manager or Biomedical personnel
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed
• Participate in ongoing education and training on safety and technical advances within scope of licensure

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
• Current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification from ARRT or ARMRIT
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Basic computer experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
