Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with a 7:30 AM start time and required call shifts
• One week on-call rotation every month (5:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday)
• Weekend on-call requirement with rotational holiday on-call
• Single modality position; not expected to cover CT or X-ray duties
• Perform MSK, Neuro, and Body scans for both inpatients and outpatients in clinic and hospital settings
• Average of 10 scans/studies per day
• Start IVs and perform Creatinine draws as needed
• Experience with Philips and/or Siemens equipment highly preferred and required for consideration
• Experience with 1.5T equipment required
• EMR systems used: Meditech, Synapse (PACS), and MEDHOST
• May be asked to float between two campus locations approximately 16 minutes apart
• May be asked to precept as needed
• Black scrubs required; not provided by facility
• Non-supervisor/lead MRI Tech position
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (MR), and Medical Radiologic Technologist license issued by the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
