MRI Technologist Job in Midland, TX

You will work as an MRI Technologist at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 14, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (5x8 evenings)
• Call duty every other week from Friday end of shift through Monday 7:00 AM
• Some holiday work expected
• Weekly pay: $2,807

Role Overview

You will perform MRI imaging across a wide range of body areas including brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and vascular studies. You will work with diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The facility operates 5 MRI rooms with a daily census of 50.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce MRI images using T-1 and T-2 weighted imaging, gradient echo imaging, spin echo imaging, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs
• Perform image post-processing including apparent diffusion coefficient mapping and subtraction
• Work with surface coils and maximum intensity projection (MIP)
• Function within a radiology interdisciplinary support environment

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of MRI experience
• Travel healthcare experience
• Current ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to start peripheral IVs
• Proficiency in contrast media preparation and administration

Preferred Qualifications

• Siemens MRI system experience
• Cerner electronic health record experience
