MRI Technologist Job in Midland, TX

You'll work as an MRI Technologist at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas, performing a full range of magnetic resonance imaging procedures across a 5-room department. This is a 91-day travel position running from October 19, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (5x8 evenings)
• On-call every other week from Friday end of shift through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Expected to work some holidays
• Weekly pay: $3,024

Your Responsibilities

• Perform brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremity MRI imaging
• Conduct MR angiography and venography studies
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs as needed
• Perform image post-processing including apparent diffusion coefficient mapping and subtraction techniques
• Utilize surface coils and execute multiplanar reconstruction
• Work with patients across all age groups—neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Travel experience required
• Current certification: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT accepted
• Current BLS certification
• Siemens equipment experience strongly preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred
