MRI Technologist Job in Houston, TX

CHI St Lukes Health - Baylor St Lukes Medical Center in Houston, TX is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, days
• Weekly pay: $2,271
• Start date: October 12, 2026
• Acute care setting with EPIC charting system

Shift Structure

• Friday 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Monday 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• On-call rotation: one week per month (may vary based on staffing)
• Call-back averaging 2–4 times per month

Equipment & Systems

You will work with Philips 1.5T, Philips 3T, and Siemens 1.5T MRI equipment in an acute care environment.

Requirements

• Current BLS Certification
• Certified MRI Technologist via ARMRIT or AMRIT
• Allied Health Professional credential

What You Should Know

Texas state licensure is not required for this role. Weekend and on-call coverage expectations are built into the schedule. Call-backs are rare and typically occur 2–4 times monthly. If called in during a scheduled Saturday or Sunday shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), you will be required to cover that assignment.
