Cath Lab Technologist Job in Ft. Walton Beach, FL

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 18, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
• 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• STEMI call required approximately 10 to 12 days per month
• Self-scheduling available
• Weekly pay: $2,248.40

Role Details

You will support the cardiac catheterization lab in a 7-bed holding unit. You will float within departments including electrophysiology (EP) and stress testing. Your responsibilities include preparing equipment, assisting physicians, and documenting procedures using MacLab and Meditech systems.

Equipment and Procedures

You will work with GE Innova and Impella equipment. Procedures you will support include TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, PCI, right and left heart catheterization (R/LHC), Impella/IABP placement, implants, direct current cardioversion (DCCV), and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Cath lab experience including structural heart, IABP, Impella, iFR, and FFR
• Advanced skills in PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP procedures
