Cath Lab Technologist Job in Tampa, FL

St. Josephs Hospital - Baycare Health System in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 4x10 hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend requirements and no floating to sister facilities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage a daily caseload of 7–20 cases per technologist
• Support cardiac procedures including stent placement, left and right heart catheterization, TAVR, ASD closures, PCI, and PTCA
• Provide expertise in structural heart procedures: TAVR, mitral clips, ASD, and PFO closures
• Work with pediatric congenital patients as well as adult and geriatric populations
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities as needed
• Complete 40 hours of orientation

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years consecutive pediatric cath lab experience (non-negotiable)
• Direct pediatric experience mandatory
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Active Florida license or compact license at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCIS certifications
• Pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (3 attempts allowed)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Preferred Skills:

• Cerner charting experience
• Strong structural heart background
