Interventional Radiology

Opportunity:

RN - Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Provide pre/post procedural care and 23-hour observation care for interventional radiology patients
• Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure
• Work within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Serve inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan
• Provide care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds
• Strong communication skills and critical thinking abilities required
• Interventional radiology experience not required
• 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• GI post-procedural care experience preferred but not required
• New York RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only) and ACLS (American Heart Association only)
