Physical Therapist Job in Rochester, NH

Join Frisbie Memorial Hospital as a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment beginning July 7, 2026. You will work 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, five days per week, providing inpatient rehabilitation services in a 19-bed unit on the 3W floor.

Your Role

You will deliver physical therapy services to inpatients in the Rehabilitation Unit, maintaining a therapy-to-patient ratio of 5:1. Your responsibilities include collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of occupational therapists, physical therapy assistants, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and support staff. When census is lower in the Inpatient Rehab Unit, you may float to the medical-surgical unit to support patient care needs.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Hampshire physical therapy license
• BLS certification
• Inpatient care experience

Preferred Experience

• Background working with neurological patients

What You'll Do Daily

• Assess and treat patients using evidence-based physical therapy interventions
• Utilize state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment
• Document patient progress in the Expanse electronic documentation system
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounding and care planning
• Maintain professional communication and customer service standards with patients, families, and staff

Training and mentorship are available to ensure your success in this role. You will work in a collaborative inpatient rehabilitation setting with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork across disciplines.

Compensation and Details

Weekly pay is $2,198. The assignment runs for 13 weeks (91 days). Dress code is scrubs; no specific color is required.
