Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:6-7 on days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend requirement with at least Saturday and Sunday coverage
• No on-call required unless placed on call for a scheduled shift due to census, then an 8-hour call requirement applies
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units or sister facilities may be required
• Department focuses on med/surg patients with ortho/neuro experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers considered on a case-by-case basis
• South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Scrub color: Royal blue
• Free parking available
• Block schedule requests may be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
• Skills include but are not limited to: blood product administration, central line blood draw, telemetry, wound care/wound vac, tracheostomy care, PICC line management, total joint replacement, pre/post neurosurgery, and orthopedic trauma
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and phlebotomy
