MRI Technologist Job in Wilmington, NC

Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center Rapid Response is seeking an MRI Technologist for their radiology and cardiology department in Wilmington, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 26, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12 night shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No call requirement
• No float requirement
• Weekly pay: $2,339.28

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• First-time travelers will not be accepted
• Current BLS and ARRT (MR and R) certifications

Required Skills

• Imaging protocols: abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance angiography, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2 weighted images, CINE
• Proficiency with GE and Siemens equipment
• Patient populations: neonates, infants, pediatrics (preferred), adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Preferred Skills

• Chest imaging
• Image post-processing

Facility Information

• Electronic documentation system: EPIC
• Uniform: royal blue scrubs
• Scheduling based on unit needs

Additional Responsibilities

Contract staff will be assigned to a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters.
