Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM with rotating call from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM and holidays
• Prepare and check patients prior to MRI procedure
• Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart, and data/requisition to determine contraindication of having MRI examination
• Verify and validate the patient screening safety form
• Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and perform daily quality assurance
• Perform venipunctures and administer proper contrast related to patient MRI exam
• Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams
• Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam
• Assist with scheduling patients
• Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS
• Complete after-hours transmission of images and appropriate paperwork
• Immediately report any malfunctions or observed potential equipment dysfunctions
• Maintain available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility
• Process billing via RIS
• Potentially rotate through all imaging modalities, sites, and/or locations
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily
• Requires frequent pushing and pulling of equipment up to 75 pounds
• Must follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT required
• Registered Technologist credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R)(ARRT), R.T.(S)(ARRT), or R.T.(T)(ARRT) in good standing required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes required
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in specialty required
• Must have a permanent Ohio license in hand at time of submission; compact licenses accepted for starts 1/1/23 and forward
