Mammography Technologist Job in Moab, UT

Moab Regional Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 26, 2026. This is a day shift position offering $3,153.60 weekly pay.

Your Role

You will operate and maintain mammography equipment to produce clear and accurate X-ray images of breast tissue. Your responsibilities include positioning and compressing patients' breasts for optimal image acquisition, ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures, and evaluating mammogram images for quality. You will perform retakes when necessary to achieve optimal results and maintain detailed patient records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff
• Assist physicians during diagnostic procedures as needed
• Educate patients on the importance of regular breast health screenings
• Stay current with the latest mammography techniques and best practices
• Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Requirements

• ARRT registration required
• Mammography license or certification required
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
• Minimum one year of experience in mammography preferred
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Willingness to modify schedule to accommodate time-off requests
