Mammography Technologist Job in Moab, UT

Moab Regional Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a day shift position. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 26, 2026, offering $2,947 per week.

About the Role

You will operate and maintain mammography equipment to produce clear, accurate X-ray images of breast tissue. Your responsibilities include:

• Position and compress patients' breasts for optimal image acquisition
• Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of procedures throughout each exam
• Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff
• Evaluate mammogram images for quality and perform retakes when necessary
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation
• Assist physicians during diagnostic procedures as needed
• Educate patients on the importance of regular breast health screenings

What We're Looking For

You must hold ARRT registration and a current mammography license or certification. An associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is preferred. We seek candidates with a minimum of one year of mammography experience.

You will need proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality are essential. You should be willing to modify your schedule to accommodate reasonable time-off requests and work collaboratively as part of a small team.
