Cath Lab Technologist Job in Gainesville, FL

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in our Cardiac Cath Lab unit. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with no weekends and no on-call requirements.

As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will support a team of 2 RNs and 3 CVTs in the EP Lab. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing device implants and cardiac ablation procedures, including SVT, AFib, and Watchman LAAO cases
• Operating GE Innova X-ray systems, Merge technology, and GE MacLab Hemo System equipment
• Documenting patient care using the Meditech system
• Following hospital-provided dress code standards with scrubs provided by the facility

This 510-bed facility offers a no-floating policy, so you'll remain in the Cath Lab throughout your assignment. The position does not require call coverage, allowing for predictable scheduling.

Requirements:

• Allied Health Professional credential with Cath Lab Technologist certification
• Current RCIS or RT(R)(CV) certification
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience with device implants and ablations, including SVT and AFib procedures
