CVICU RN Job in Reston, VA

You will work as an RN in a 4-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Reston Hospital Center, supporting the launch of a new cardiac surgery program. This is a travel position lasting 91 days, starting November 2, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3x12 Days: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week, including 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
• Weekly pay: $2,260.08

Unit Details

• Primary nursing model
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for immediate post-surgical patients; 1:2 for post-op days 1–3
• Floating policy maintains the same patient ratio as the unit you float to
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse

Your Background

You have 1–2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients and direct primary recovery. You hold current ACLS certification and are proficient in advanced critical care skills, including balloon pump management, Impella training, and Hemosphere or Acumen training.
