Ultrasound Technologist Job in Mountain Home, AR

Baxter Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in Mountain Home, AR. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with an on-call rotation of 2 days per week and every other weekend. You must respond to calls within 30 minutes.

In this role, you will perform quality imaging across radiology and cardiology to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. You will assist radiologists with exams in the ultrasound department, operating room, emergency department, and patient floors. Your responsibilities include performing a wide range of ultrasound studies—OB/GYN, vascular, abdominal, breast, and thyroid—as well as ultrasound-guided procedures such as breast biopsy, thyroid biopsy, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.

You will operate Siemens ultrasound equipment with appropriate transducers and serve patients across all age groups, from infants through geriatrics. You must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist for extended periods, and occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds. You will handle critical and stressful situations with composure and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sonographer
• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
• Current ARDMS, ARRT (S), and BLS/CPR certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Outpatient ultrasound experience
• Cerner charting experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience

This is a 91-day assignment starting July 27, 2026. You will earn $2,448 per week.
