Telemetry RN Job in Meridian, ID

St Lukes Meridian Medical Center is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in Telemetry. You'll work 3x12 shifts on nights (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.

Key Details:

• Weekly pay: $2,203.20
• Start date: September 21, 2026
• Shift schedule: 12-hour nights; weekend and holiday availability required
• No on-call or standby requirements
• 2 orientation shifts provided following system onboarding

Role Responsibilities:

• Monitor and document telemetry readings every 6 hours using SpaceLab monitors (transitioning to Philips)
• Provide direct patient care to those with CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, and pneumothorax
• Manage cardiac drips and medications including diltiazem and amiodarone
• Perform post-cath recovery care and chest tube management
• Chart in EPIC system
• Float to similar units, Med/Surg, and ICU if experienced; no drip titration required

Required Qualifications:

• RN with current license
• Minimum 2 years telemetry nursing experience
• BSN required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Cardiac drip, NIH stroke assessment, post-cath recovery, and chest tube experience
• Professional appearance and well-kept scrubs required

RT staff will manage CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment, allowing you to focus on patient monitoring and care coordination. This is a solid opportunity to work in a structured telemetry setting with established protocols and predictable scheduling.
