Cath Lab Technologist Job in Charleston, WV

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, West Virginia. This role offers competitive compensation at $3,146 weekly for an Allied Health Professional with hands-on cardiac catheterization experience.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Start date: October 26, 2026
• Duration: 91 days
• On-call responsibilities with 30-minute response time; weekend call rotation (Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM) rotating as first and backup call

Caseload and Scope

You will manage 8 to 10 cases per day in a busy diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab. Your work will focus primarily within the Cath Lab with possible floating within scope to meet facility needs; no floating to sister facilities required.

Required Qualifications

• Active West Virginia license in hand at start; pending license submissions accepted
• Minimum 1 year of prior cath lab experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• ARRT registration required (RCIS registration does not satisfy WV licensing requirements for cath lab work)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency in Cerner charting system

Required Skills and Competencies

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA)
• Left heart catheterization and adult diagnostic catheterizations
• Cardiac implant closure device placement and cardiac stent placement
• IABP placement and removal
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Scrub and circulator duties with sterile field maintenance and sterile technique
• Equipment setup and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
