Cath Lab Technologist Job in Martinsburg, WV

WVU Berkeley Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join its Cardiac Catheterization Lab team in Martinsburg, West Virginia. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 22, 2026, offering $2,890 weekly pay.

Role Overview

You will perform CV Rad Tech scrub and monitoring responsibilities in a 3-person team alongside 2 RNs and 1 tech. Your days will focus on adult cardiac cases including peripheral catheterization, cardiac catheterization, PCI, and device procedures—no ablations. You'll manage an average of 4–5 cases daily, with case volume ranging from 2 to 9 per day.

Schedule

Work four 10-hour shifts per day, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You will also cover 10–11 call shifts monthly, including:

• Monday through Friday call coverage from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend call Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Holiday call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Experience with IABP and IVUS required
• Familiarity with Acist injector preferred but not required
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certification
• Certified Radiologic Technologist—ARRT (R) verification
• West Virginia license required; RCIS will not be accepted
• Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility

Facility Details

You will chart using EPIC (Cupid) with Xper dynamics system. Scrubs are provided; Rad Techs wear burgundy. You may occasionally float to Non-Invasive CV to start IVs. Onboarding includes a 2-shift orientation with a preceptor followed by a buddy call period.
