Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Staffing ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
• On-call weekend requirement with 5 call shifts per month, days and hours vary
• 10 call shifts required per 13-week contract
• No holiday requirement
• Must be able to scrub and circulate cardiac surgery procedures
• Required cardiac surgery experience includes: CABGs, aortic/mitral valve repairs and replacements, heart transplants, dissections, and LVADs
• Required vascular experience includes: EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR, and open AAA procedures
• Experience with thoracic surgery preferred (VATS, lobe resection, thoracotomy)
• May float to other OR services when cardiac volume is down, including General, Urology, ENT, and other specialties (average floating to main OR approximately once per week)
• Charting system: Epic
• 3 years of experience required
• PA or compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Required certification: BLS
• Scrubs are provided
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Patient age groups served: Adults and Geriatrics
