Job Details:

• Work shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call required per unit needs
• Average of 40 cases per day
• 1:1 patient ratio during days, nights, and weekends
• 40 orientation hours required
• First time traveler accepted
• 2 years of experience required
• Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Must be proficient in surgical services including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic Procedures, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General, Orthopedic, Robotics, Vascular, and Thoracic
• Experience with da Vinci Xi Surgical System and robotic surgery preferred
• Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care for adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients
• Function as an advisor and resource for patients and their families
• Candidates may float within facility within scope
• Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, 16-hour Maryland approved trauma course (required by 27th week), 8-hour annual trauma CEUs
