Job Details:

• Night shift position from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call required per unit needs
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First time traveler accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:1 across days, nights, and weekends
• Average of 40 cases per day
• Serves adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations
• Must be proficient in Surgical Services including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic Procedures, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General, Orthopedic, Robotics, Vascular, and Thoracic
• Experience with da Vinci robotic surgical system required
• Charting system experience in Cerner preferred
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, 16-hour Maryland approved trauma course (required by 27th week), 8-hour annual trauma CEUs
• Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families
• Interdisciplinary support available including Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary
