Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Daily caseload of 25 patients per tech
• On-call required: one week on call followed by two weeks off; call team consists of 2 RNs and 2 Techs
• STEMI call and IR covered by the same call team
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted
• Strong cardiac cath lab skillset required; strong IR experience preferred
• Hybrid lab performing both Cardiac Cath and IR cases; no neuro cases or structural heart
• Required skills include: scrub, monitor, and circulate general skills
• Cardiac Cath procedures required: balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, coil embolization, filter placement, pacemaker/defibrillator device placement, Impella insertion, left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization
• IR procedures required: stents, angioplasty, thoracentesis, peripherals, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access
• EKG experience required: pacemakers, rhythm interpretation, sinus node rhythms, Holter monitoring
• EP experience required: baseline measurements, insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion
• Preferred equipment experience: Siemens Artis Q, Penumbra, Angiojet, Phillips Xper, Volcano/IVUS
• Preferred IR procedures: ablation
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Required certifications: FL license, BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R), CCI RCES or RCIS, CET, Fluoro Permit, ARRT Advanced Certification
• Patients served: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
