Opportunity:

RN - Rehab

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Float to Medical/Surgical unit as needed
• Weekend shifts required depending on the needs of the unit
• Provide acute inpatient and acute hospital rehabilitation nursing care
• Patient ratio of 5 patients per nurse
• Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Approximately 40 patient visits per day
• Utilize Epic charting system (required)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, valid California RN License
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams
• Key clinical skills include acute inpatient rehab, stroke scale assessment, mobilization techniques, wound care, tracheostomy care, central line care, spinal cord injury management, traumatic brain injury care, and administration of blood and blood products
