Opportunity:

MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) - Med Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work graveyard shift with variable day/evening shifts either 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Possible call or standby call requirement
• Generalist position covering all areas of the laboratory including blood bank
• Must have experience working independently on the graveyard shift
• Must be proficient in all areas of the lab including blood bank
• No phlebotomy required
• LIS system: Epic; Blood banking system: Wellsky; QC system: Unity Real Time; Middleware: Data Innovations
• Schedule is set on a 6-week block schedule with no self-scheduling allowed
• Dress code: Scrubs or business casual with closed-toed shoes
• Department-specific orientation provided; must be in-state for the full week of orientation
• Required certifications: Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via ASCP or AMT, or Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via ASCP or AMT
• BLS not required
• Must reside within 60 miles of the facility; valid driver's license must be submitted
