OR RN Job in Anchorage, AK

You will work as an RN in the Operating Room at Alaska Regional Hospital, providing direct patient care and surgical support in a fast-paced environment. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning June 1, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Three 12-hour shifts per week, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend shifts preferred and required if working weekdays
• Approximately 15 on-call shifts per month (typically 5–6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 4-week period)
• Weekly pay: $2,496.60

Your Role

• Serve as patient advocate and circulator while supporting the sterile field
• Manage 1:1 patient ratio
• Work with a variety of OR beds and equipment
• Use the Epic EMR system

Procedures and Experience

You will handle typical cases including total joint replacements, multi-level spine fusions, and Xi robotic procedures (GYN, colorectal, and general surgery). You will also see limited ENT, dental, eye, and plastic surgery procedures. Required experience includes orthopedics, total joints, neurosurgery, and robotics. Circulator experience is preferred; scrub experience and CNOR certification are preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Current Alaska RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
