PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• 8-hour day shifts
• No weekend requirement; holidays required if needed
• On-call: 8-hour days
• Will float and precept to additional surgery centers as needed
• Facility-provided scrubs required
• High proficiency in PERI-OP and PACU required
• Minimum 2 years OR/PRE-OP experience required
• Phase I and Phase II PACU experience required
• Experience with sedation, critical drips, and telemetry interpretation required
• Must be able to prepare the room for OR as well as the patient
• Multiple surgical specialty experience required
• BSN preferred
• Traveler must have their own vehicle
• Block scheduling or schedule accommodations for 10/12-hour shifts will not be considered
• All requested time off must be included at time of submission; scheduling requests will not be approved after offer
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Massachusetts RN license required
• PACU Skills Checklist current within 1 year required
• PRE/PERI-OP Skills Checklist current within 1 year required
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
